Strengthening Industry-Government Collaboration: Jiangxi Provincial Leaders Visit Mingke Packaging Machinery
Nanchang, China – June 15, 2025
In a significant nod to technological innovation and industrial advancement, a delegation of senior leaders from Jiangxi Province, led by Mr. Wang Zhigang, Director of the Jiangxi Department of Industry and Information Technology, visited Mingke Packaging Machinery’s state-of-the-art manufacturing base in Nanchang. The visit highlighted Mingke’s pivotal role in driving smart manufacturing and sustainable development within China’s packaging machinery sector, while underscoring the provincial government’s commitment to fostering public-private partnerships for economic growth.

A Warm Welcome and Vision Sharing
The delegation was warmly received by Mingke’s Chairman, Mr. Liu Haibo, and senior executives, who provided an overview of the company’s 20-year journey from a local startup to a global leader in automated packaging solutions. During the welcome session, Mr. Liu emphasized Mingke’s alignment with national strategies such as "Made in China 2025" and "Dual Carbon Goals," stating, “Our innovations in energy-efficient machinery and smart factory solutions reflect Jiangxi’s vision for a green, tech-driven industrial ecosystem.”
Showcasing Innovation: The Heart of Mingke’s Success
The leaders toured Mingke’s R&D center and production lines, witnessing live demonstrations of flagship products, including:
-
MK-SP6 Intelligent Granular Packaging System: A fully automated line integrating AI vision inspection and IoT connectivity, capable of processing 200 bags per minute with 99.9% accuracy.
-
MK-EL4 Eco-Friendly Film Wrapping Machine: Designed to reduce plastic waste by 30% through optimized material usage, aligning with Jiangxi’s circular economy initiatives.
-
Smart Factory Control Platform: A centralized digital dashboard enabling real-time monitoring of production efficiency, energy consumption, and predictive maintenance across multiple factories.
Of particular interest was Mingke’s R&D collaboration with Nanchang University on AI-driven quality control systems. Mr. Wang praised the initiative, noting, “This partnership exemplifies how academia and industry can jointly address real-world challenges, elevating Jiangxi’s innovation capabilities on the global stage.”
Dialogue on Policy Support and Future Growth

During the roundtable discussion, leaders explored strategies to accelerate Jiangxi’s industrial transformation. Key topics included:
-
Funding for SMEs: Mingke proposed expanding subsidies for local manufacturers adopting automation to enhance competitiveness.
-
Talent Development: Plans for a provincial-level vocational training program, co-sponsored by Mingke, to cultivate skilled technicians in smart manufacturing.
-
Export Expansion: Leveraging Jiangxi’s Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) connections to boost machinery exports to Southeast Asia and Africa.
Mr. Wang reaffirmed the government’s support, stating, “Mingke’s success is a benchmark for Jiangxi’s industrial upgrading. We will prioritize policies that enable such enterprises to scale sustainably while contributing to regional employment and technological sovereignty.”
Sustainability at the Core
The delegation applauded Mingke’s recent achievement of carbon-neutral certification for its Nanchang facility, powered by solar energy and waste-heat recovery systems. Mingke’s Vice President, Ms. Zhang Mei, shared plans to replicate this model across Jiangxi, aiming to reduce the province’s manufacturing carbon footprint by 15% by 2030.
A Forward-Looking Partnership
The visit concluded with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish a Jiangxi Smart Packaging Innovation Center, co-funded by the provincial government and Mingke. The center will focus on R&D for biodegradable packaging materials and robotics, further cementing Jiangxi’s position as a hub for advanced manufacturing.
“Today’s visit is not just an inspection—it’s a collaboration milestone,” remarked Chairman Liu. “With the government’s guidance, Mingke will continue to innovate, creating shared value for our industry, community, and environment.”
